OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
DISPATCH MODE
Dispatch mode is the standard mode of operation for the coaster and is the center spot in the mode switcher. Up to two trains can be on the track in this mode, and the control software is active to ensure that there is always one block zone between the trains. Trains can be sent by the operator whenever the dispatch button glows green. This will only happen when a train is currently in the station and the lift block is cleared.
SHOW MODE
Show mode is designed to showcase the coaster without needing an operator standing by to manually dispatch the train. Up to two trains can be on the track in this mode, and the control software is active to ensure that there is always one block zone between the trains. When the dispatch button is pressed, trains are automatically sent from the station as soon as the block in front of them is cleared. After one minute, the trains are stopped in the station and brake run and don’t move until the dispatch button is pressed again.
MAINTENANCE MODE
Maintenance mode is used to have complete manual control of the three motors on the model: lift, station, and brake run. Operators are able to use the three switches on the left side of the board to slowly jog the three motors forwards and backwards. The switches will glow green when they are enabled. The control software is not active in maintenance mode, so operators must use this mode carefully to ensure that they don’t cause the trains to collide with each other. Because of this, the key must be inserted to be in this mode.
