ANNUAL DESIGN COMPETITION

Gator TPED's Swamp Thrills competition is our annual multidisciplinary student design competition held virtually.

In teams of 4 to 6, you will create a project based on a prompt themed around theme parks!

On competition day your project will be reviewed by a panel of judges who work in the theme park industry. Swamp Thrills is also open to all universities.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED PER TEAM?

Teams must be between 4 and 6 people.

CAN NON-UF TEAMS COMPETE?

Yes, however only one team is allowed per school.

IS THERE TEAM MATCHING?

TPED does not offer official team matching, but we encourage introducing yourself in the Swamp Thrills Discord server to meet potential teammates.

WHERE DOES SWAMP THRILLS TAKE PLACE?

Swamp Thrills takes place over Zoom! Your team must be present for the entire duration of the event.

CAN GRADUATE STUDENTS COMPETE?

Absolutely, any college students are welcome!

IS THERE A FEE TO PARTICIPATE?

Nope, Swamp Thrills is completely free!
