MEET THE OFFICERS

President

Reilly VanderNeut is a 4th-year Mechanical Engineering major. She loves to learn more about how rides and animatronics function and see guests experience these attractions. She hopes to work in the theme park industry to bring new experiences to life and see the joy it brings to guests.

 

Her favorite attractions are Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, Tower of Terror, and Revenge of the Mummy.

Internal Vice President

Leandro Ascue is a 3rd-year Mechanical Engineering major. He enjoys learning about the mechanical systems and operations that bring themed attractions to life. He hopes to one day work in the theme park industry to help develop new immersive experiences for guests to enjoy.

 

His favorite attractions are El Toro, Stardust Racers, Tower of Terror, Haunted Mansion, and Fantasmic.

External Vice President

Laura is a 4th-year Mechanical Engineering major. She enjoys learning about the ways in which theme park attractions work. She hopes to be able to work in the theme park industry one day to help design new and innovative attractions.

 

Her favorite attractions are Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, Revenge of the Mummy, and Cosmic Rewind.

Cayden Schupp is a 2nd year Mechanical Engineering student. He is a dedicated theme park and roller coaster enthusiast and loves discovering the history, mechanisms, and processes that have allowed for theme parks and attractions to fascinate and thrill millions throughout time. He strives to follow in the footsteps of the great creative and technical minds of those who sculpted these parks so that others can be inspired just as he was. 

 

His favorite attractions are ArieForce One, El Toro, and The Voyage.

Secretary

​Lillian Paquette is a 2nd-year Mechanical Engineering major. She enjoys learning about different ride systems, and how they can influence the storytelling of an attraction. She hopes to find an internship in The industry where she can gain more experience in designing and engineering attractions using new ride technologies.

 

Her favorite ride is The ET Adventure due to its original concept, immersive atmosphere, and nostalgia from her childhood.

PR Chair

Parker Loftin is a 4th-year construction management student. She enjoys the construction side of theme parks and is fascinated with the building process for attractions. She hopes to one day work in the theme park industry and help oversee the construction of new buildings and attractions.

 

Her favorite attractions are the Incredible Hulk Coaster and Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment.

Sebastian Rojas is a 2nd year Architecture Major. He enjoys the design process and seeing a project through from concept to final deliverables. He hopes to find an internship in the industry to further his understanding of the design process.

 

His favorite ride is Monsters unchained for its excellent theming, effective design, and overall enjoyability
